Max Siendentopf created this series of photographs with sculptural items that he had created from various pieces of equipment you would find in a school or your pencil case. They were meant to be instructions on how to "Secure School Safety". It was a playful take on a touchy subject of school shootings however he wanted to illustrate in a light hearted way how the "innocence of home made weapons has been taken away from us".

What i find interesting about this piece is the home made / DIY aspect of the items. I want to adapt this into my own project about surveillance and create a series of pamphlets to hand out at protests describing/ showing people how to protect themselves from surveillance using ordinary objects they would find in their house.

Another piece of Max's work was created in response to the national lockdown in the UK. It's a Survival Guide that depicts challenges that can be taken on at home during lockdown. Each artwork depicted a satirical response to the challenges he created which he then uploaded onto his instagram and got his followers to also respond to the challenge.
